In May of 2012 we got our family photos taken by Katrina Shiner @ Studio K! We had a great time and loved the photos we got!
This year we also had a few surgeries! Brooks had a umbical hernia fix. Which went well and it looks amazing! He has had it since birth and it was good he could get it fixed before it caused a problem! McKenzie also had surgery this year. When McKenzie was about three we noticed her eyes starting to cross. We took her in to the eye doctor and she got glasses. Her eyes stopped crossing when she got her glasses until recently we noticed her eyes crossing again! So we took her to a specialist and she had surgery on both of her eyes. We were exstatic with the results! Her eyes are no longer crossed! Yay!!
This summer I started a new business! I became a jeweler for Premier Designs Jewelry! I LOVE my job! I have met so many great women selling jewelry! I love the way I feel as I wear my beautiful jewelry.
Brooks has been attending college this year too! He recently defeated his nemesis class College Algebra!! We are all very excited for him. He worked hard and got a B in the class. He also passed a Business 101 course all while working about 55 to 60 hours a week! He is so amazing and smart. I am very proud to be his wife.

Riley Zoey had a great year too! She is in the second grade at Heyburn Elementary. She absolutely loves school. She has always been such a smart little girl. This year is no different then the rest she has excelled in school and made many new friends. This year Riley lost her first two teeth! She was pretty excited!

McKenzie Chase is a little smartie just like her older sister! She is not only smart but has a hugh imagination. Kenzie started kindergarten this year and loves it. She has a very loving teacher, Mrs. Lloyd who gives her lots of praise. She thrives in that kind of environment! Kenzie has such a big heart at christmas time we told the girls they would only be receiving one gift from Brooks and I this year and her response was "It is okay mom Christmas isn't about presents anyways. It is about giving and spending time with those who we love!" Ah melted my heart! She told the Santa who came to her school she wanted a pomegranate for Christmas. She and Riley giggled and giggled when she found one in her stocking!

Our sweet little Brynlie Brooks has grown so much this year! It is amazing the difference between two and three years old. Brynlie accomplished potty training this year! Yay no more diapers! She is also another smart little girl who learns so quickly. She has turned into quite the little comedian! She is hilarious. She always says "oh my dad he is so funny. He really cracks me up!" She is growing like a weed. I think she is going to be our tallest daughter.

We took our first long road trip together as a family. The girls did incredible! We went on a 2300 mile road trip in one week. The girls only had about ten minutes total of whinning. I thought that wasnt bad at all. Once the whinning started I pulled out a new surprise Tinkerbell movie. That settled them down for the rest of the trip. We first went to Santa Rosa, CA and stayed with Brooks' cousin Becky Ferris. We had so much fun connecting with Brooks cousins that he hasnt seen in years and who I had never met. We stayed there for a few days and celebrated Thanksgiving with them. Then we drove through California to Moreno Valley were Danny and Angela were getting married. We had a great time with all of the wedding celebrations. We love all of my brothers and sisters spouses! They are all great!
We had a fantastic 2012 year! Our lives are sometimes crazy but we get to spend it with the ones we love! I cant wait to see what is in store for us in 2013.
